✔ Fragile Packing
Don’t worry we got it! You let our team of experts know your breakable or high-value items (glassware, dishes, mirrors, sculptures, artwork, fragile furniture, plant pots, etc.) items. We efficiently pack them with care, so you don’t have to.
✔ Self-Packing
Desert Moving can provide you with a packing guide & materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, etc.) to better assist in the protection of your items during transit, even if you decide to do your own packing.
Essential Household Moving Services
✔ Loading
All your goods are marked, labeled and inventoried for a quick and easy loading process. Furthermore, all furniture will be protected in two ways either blanket wrapping or stretch wrap film, which is a durable plastic that covers the furniture 360 degrees, to help keep from collecting dust and dirt and damage during the relocation.
✔ Transfer/Driving
Our line of Fleet has the most current trailers to ensure in a safe travel during the Transfer stage of the move. With turn-by-turn computerized tracking, it is vital that your home is safe while inside our trucks. Your foreman has passed a series of written & driving tests and has accomplished all certificates necessary to make for the perfect candidate to transport your goods from one location to the next.
✔ Unloading
During the arrival process each and every item is inventoried as they are handled into the destination location. Through the time of unloading. All furniture, boxes and other belongings are placed in the rooms you assign. Assembly of Appliances (Washer/Dryer/Refrigerator etc.) beds (head board, foot board, side rails, poster bed, etc.) bookcases and other furniture is available upon request. Additionally, we protect your new home with different types of floor runners to prevent scratches or stains on carpet and wood flooring.

✔ Unpacking
Packed boxes are opened and contents inside are taken our and placed in the location you would like them put. Desert Moving will removal all packing boxes, materials for disposal, which is included in the service of unpacking. This allows for a quicker and tighter new home feel. After all you want to start out in a clean beginning into your new chapter of your life.
✔ Crating
Breakable and High-value items such as artwork, sculptures, electronic equipment or delicate collectibles may need some extra love and care. Our crating department will create a customer crate to fit any size needed. This option significantly protects those family airlume items that can’t be replaced.
✔ Cars/Motorcycles/Boats/Golf Cart
Transporting larger items such as cars, motorcycles, boats, golf cars can be part of your household moving services. Depending on size, the items will be protected and placed in the truck with the rest of your belongings… or on another vehicle if necessary.
✔ Assembly/Dis-assembly
Dis-assembly of furniture is available and included in the moving service. Before your move we can take anything that needs to come apart during transport and then re-assemble the same items back to its normal condition at delivery.
✔ Third Party Services
Upon request, Desert Moving Co. & Storage works with multiple affiliate companies that can help you through your move process. Third party companies can assist in pool table moving, pool or hot tub moving as well as a dis assembly/assembly of any items and cleaning services can be arranged for you post move.
✔ Shuttle Services
If access to your home is difficult because of a narrow driveway or obstruction, Desert Moving will provide a more accessible truck to transport your belongings from your old home to the moving van or from the moving van to your new home.
✔ Storage
Storage-in-transit is available for your belongs for as long as your need it. Our state of the art climate controlled facility can cater to any amount of space. Storage is a good option if you are not yet able to move into your new home for any reason.
